Meet Jason!
The G-001 has been modeled on the '94 classic the DW-001, nicknamed "The Jason" because of the ice hockey mask looking dimples on the watch face. Just hitting Australian shores earlier last month they have done 4 colourways (2 of them bound to keep the purest very happy), the OG yellow of the DW-001 has been given new life in the form of the G-001-9DR!
Bringing back the 90's steez like a punch in the face from a street cat, this watch has wrist-protectors, a plastic (YES PLASTIC) fastening clip and all the jazz from the 90's. The orginal Jason had sun and moon data and a Thermometer function which is quite strange to have on a watch. This re-release has been simplified somewhat with a 24hr Stop-Watch, 24hr Countdown Timer, 3 Alarms and World-Time it is also 20Bar water resistant.
I don't know about you all but I think one of the best features of "The Jason" have to be the Mesh Vents along the wrist band. Maybe I'm crazy but I love the touch. Also the fact that there is a simple face which makes it very easy to read, with the right hand "eye" counting seconds and the left side 10secs.
"The Jason" will be a sure favorite with young and old no doubt bringing back memories of the wild 90's with all the colour and gathering plenty of new fans along the way!!
